2025 Tentative Itinerary

You'll receive a more detailed itinerary at our “Get to Know You” meeting this spring, but here’s a sneak peek of your exciting adventure to London!

Friday, 9 May
Begin your journey with an overnight direct flight from Detroit to London (approximately 7-8 hours), setting the stage for an unforgettable trip.

Saturday, 10 May
Touch down at London Heathrow around 7 AM. While we wait for our hotel check-in around noon, we’ll kick things off with a visit to the famous Portobello Road Antique Market (weather permitting) to stretch our legs and soak in some local culture. If the weather isn’t on our side, we'll explore an alternative spot. After checking in, unwind at the hotel, and for those up for it, join us later for a stroll through the neighborhood or a scenic night walk along the Thames.

Sunday, 11 May
Start your day with a delicious English breakfast (included every morning). Then, we’ll hop on a motorcoach for a half-day guided tour of London, giving you a great overview of the city’s iconic landmarks. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure until the evening when we’ll gather for a group dinner within walking distance of the hotel.

Monday, 12 May
We’ll take a leisurely walk to the world-renowned British Museum for a couple of hours of exploration. Afterwards, enjoy some free time in vibrant Covent Garden, where you can shop, dine, or simply take in the lively atmosphere. (Note: Monday and Tuesday itineraries may switch.)

Tuesday, 13 May
Today, we’ll visit the area around St. Paul’s Cathedral. If you'd like, take some time to explore this magnificent building on your own. Just a short walk across the Millennium Bridge awaits the Tate Modern Gallery and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. (Note: Monday and Tuesday itineraries may switch.)

Wednesday, 14 May
We’ll embark on a full-day trip outside of London to an exciting destination yet to be determined! Since we may return later in the evening, we suggest keeping your night open for relaxation rather than planning any events.

Thursday, 15 May
Enjoy the entire day to yourself—whether it's visiting more London sights, indulging in local cuisine, or simply relaxing, the choice is yours!

Friday, 16 May
Another free day to explore London at your own pace. With so much to see and do, you'll have endless options to fill your day.

Saturday, 17 May
It's time to say goodbye to London. We’ll leave the hotel early for our flight back to Detroit. While we may miss the hotel breakfast, feel free to grab a quick bite the night before to enjoy while packing up. Our mid-morning flight will have us back in Detroit by early afternoon, ready to reminisce about the memories made.
